IDC D.I. Khan Region provided one month of ration and clean drinking water to 50 families affected by the recent CRBC Canal flood in Paharpur, Dera Ismail Khan.

Last week, a devastating flood struck Paharpur, Dera Ismail Khan, after the CRBC Canal breached, leaving hundreds of families and community members affected.

As the incident received little attention from mainstream media, the situation did not receive the wider public attention it deserved. Local residents reached out to the Imamia Disaster Management Cell (IDC) and requested assistance for the affected families.

The IDC team in D.I. Khan Region responded to the situation by providing essential relief to the affected community. Today, 50 families in Paharpur were provided with one month’s worth of ration, valued at PKR 10,000 per family, along with clean drinking water.

The local Imambargah was also severely affected by the flooding. IDC will also work toward its reconstruction and restoration.
