Disaster Response
We equip young people with practical tools to lead social action projects and strengthen community resilience.
About Disaster Response
IDC delivers rapid and structured disaster response through a three-phase model: Relief, Recovery, and Resilience. In crises such as the 2025 floods in Southern Punjab, IDC mobilized teams on-ground to provide immediate support including food, shelter, hygiene kits, and medical assistance, ensuring timely relief to the most affected communities.
Beyond emergency response, IDC continues to support affected populations through long-term rehabilitation efforts. Following incidents like the Tarlai tragedy, the organization has implemented structured recovery programs including financial assistance, education support, and livelihood initiatives. This approach ensures that support goes beyond short-term aid, enabling communities to rebuild with dignity and become more resilient to future challenges.
